Ideation Workshop conducted by UIIC REVA University

Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Cell of UIIC, REVA University successfully organized one day Ideation Workshop for students of REVA University on 30th March 2019. Mr. Praveen H J, Assistant Manager, UIIC conducted this hands-on workshop from 10 am to 4 pm at Library seminar Hall. The objective of the workshop is to make the participants generate business ideas to solve real world problems. The programme consisted of an ideas framework that helps participants, first get an idea, second validate them, third develop them and the last stage, test them in a real world environment. This workshop provided an opportunity for participants to improve their entrepreneurial skills, to build a strong network of like-minded innovators, and inspire them to become successful entrepreneurs. The workshop was open for all students of REVA University. About 30 students from different disciplines of Engineering and Management attended this workshop and learnt the process of ideation.

Through this programme participants were exposed to the following learning outcomes:

Apart from this, participants retained a completed copy of their worksheets which contains all the key work done with respect to their own idea. They can be used by participants to initiate/improve or scale their solutions. The workshop involved buddy sessions, peer-coaching, mentoring, fun and exciting activities. At the end of the workshop feedback was collected from the participants.The camp was successfully coordinated UIIC team under the leadership and direction of Dr. Kiran Kumari Patil, Director, UIIC. EDClub members from School of ECE also contributed towards conducting the event successfully.
