As we gear up to celebrate our 73rd Independence Day today, am sure our spirits are brightened as we think about the new found status given to Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. We feel stronger that our brothers and sisters are comforted and that the entire country is happy that the residents of these regions would only benefit from these recent changes. Two more Union Territories have been added and this Independence Day will be historical in its own way! The aspirations of the people of this region am sure would rise higher and with this we rejoice as they celebrate this Independence Day with a new fervour. A new landmark and a new beginning!
This day am sure we are also proud of Chandrayaan-2 and the great contribution of ISRO. The Indian Space Research Organisation has done us proud and this is a great inspiration to all the young scientists who have aspirations ahead! We have had new political beginnings in the country too! All and all, it is about a Bright Future to India!
In this series of initiations, REVA cannot be left behind and we need to focus on stand out moments for our students, faculty and all our stakeholders.
Jagruti towards Global Warming is one of those stand out campaigns and I want each of you to pledge the best to save our country and make it plastic free and care for flora and fauna.
Our heartfelt prayers to the families who are facing the floods and nature’s wrath with bravery and let us step forward generously to do what we can in every way possible for these victims of nature’s ravage. India has also lost great leaders this year and am sure their place is irreplaceable. Let us remember what they have contributed to the growth of our country in these years!
With the new batch in for the new academic cycle, let us pledge to make their lives resourceful in every day of their learning at REVA! I foresee and visualise a new breed of leaders at REVA as we set on REVA Brigade and REVA PRO with the support of REVA 4.
