Programme Objective:
All Summer School courses at RWTH are uniquely designed for international students who want to gain insight into one of Germany’s Universities of Excellence.

4 weeks (June 1 to 26, 2020)
Module 1: Automotive and Mobility Studies
Overview: The programme explores modern automotive technologies and concepts of mobility, including: fundamentals of vehicle physics and driving resistances, alternative concepts for the powertrain of vehicles, energy storage systems in vehicles, and the grid integration of electric vehicles.
3 weeks (June 22 to July 10, 2020)
Module 2: Mechatronic Systems Engineering and Product Innovation
Overview: Students explore fundamental issues in industrial robotics and related mechatronic systems, properties of transmission and information, the relationship between coding and the limits of information, and systematically develop a mechatronic system.
4 weeks (July 6 to 31, 2020)
Module 3: Automation and Simulation
Overview: The programme covers fundamentals used in automation and simulation. In exercises and computer lab classes, students solve real world problems. As a result, methods used in mechanical engineering are tried, tested and acquired.
3 weeks (August 3 to 21, 2020)
Module 4: Production Technology meets Industry 4.0
Overview: Industry 4.0 is an initiative by the German government which promotes the integration of industrial production with information and communication technologies. The programme enables students to acquire a better understanding of current and future requirements in production technology.

Module 5: Robotics for Future Industrial Applications
Overview: This programme is all about the engineering, controlling and programming of robots. The lectures introduce fundamental theoretical knowledge in robotics and are complemented by lab classes, in which students apply their acquired knowledge in practical projects.
3 weeks (June 15 to July 3, 2020)
Module 1: Sustainable Energy Technology
Overview: The programme introduces mathematical and physical basics of building energy performance modeling and simulation, the implementation of models using computer-based numerical methods, computer algebra systems and object-oriented modeling language Modelica.
2 weeks (June 29 to July 10, 2020)
Module 2: Smart Electrical Power Systems
Overview: Students receive an overview of current challenges and new technologies with regards to the future electric grid. Topics include the distribution and transfer of direct current, measurement and monitoring methods in modern power systems, as well as energy storage systems.
2 weeks (July)
Module: Structural Engineering of Industrial Facilities
Overview: This Summer School highlights the analysis and design of industrial facilities in regard to exceptional and dynamic loads, enabling students to better understand the conceptual design process of industrial structures and components.
University for the Creative Arts, UK who were here at REVA late December, 2019 have come forward to invite our students to their International Creative Summer School programme to be held at Canterbury, UK between the 20th of July, 2020 and 31st of July, 2020. (2 weeks)

REVA has initiated the first Extension programme for Schools of Applied Sciences, Business Studies and Legal Studies with U C Berkeley. As we all know U C Berkeley is the one of the largest Public Universities and Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley is the second oldest business school in the United States.
UC Berkeley Extension International Programmes will be carried out through mobility of undergraduate and/or graduate students under the Berkeley Global Access Programme, Berkeley Haas Global Access Programme, Legal Studies Global Access Programme, Immersives and Professional Diploma Programmes, Concurrent Enrollment Programme, and the Berkeley Physics International Education (BPIE) Programme.
This programme is open for the Business School students, Legal Studies students, School of Applied Sciences (Physics) students desiring to go for their Extension study of a semester abroad

Berkeley Global Legal Studies Online Programme (BGLS Online Programme invites all the Legal Studies, Humanities and Social Sciences and Engineering Schools for their new Law programme for those students aspiring to pursue Law in the US.
