Women Education

Women education in India plays a very important role in the overall development of the country. It is not only helps in the development of half of the human resources, but in improving the quality of life at home and outside.

REVA believes that Women education play a key role in building a nation and education is an essential element for any nation. Promoting education among women helps them understand their individuality to refrain from any exploitation.

AT REVA University, around 40% of the students are female students and 45% are women faculty.

Women students have been given sufficient opportunities to excel in their chosen field. There is no existence of gender discrimination at REVA University and women have been given equal importance in all the activities. A course on Gender studies has been introduced at UG level in the School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences


The female faculty at REVA are occupied importance position such Director, Controller of Examination etc.

Women faculty are also representing in Academic Council, Board of Management and Board of Governors and suggesting necessary reforms in higher education.
