The most anticipated time of this academic calendar is here with the State government approving educational institutions to allow cent percent attendance at higher primary schools, colleges, and universities. At REVA, although the campus was student-ready from several months before, the University was looking forward to an official confirmation to reopen the classroom doors to REVAites.
The prolonged delay in reopening institutions only ensured that all our readiness was tried, tested, and fool-proof before students entered the campus.

Foundation for a strong community
With an eclectic mix of accomplished faculty and young teachers, as students, you will learn from the best in the industry. Most of the courses are guided and mentored by Directors who have won international and national accolades for innovation. For instance, an Associate Professor from the School of ECE has been awarded as the "Outstanding IEEE Student Branch Counselor” by IEEE Bangalore Section and Global IEEE MGA, respectively. The Director of CSE is a recipient of the Young Scientist Award awarded by the Karnataka State government.
REVAites have endless opportunities to interact and learn from such acclaimed academicians.
Along with this, REVAites will also get a chance to interact with alumni who have made remarkable achievements in various fields. REVA boasts of an accomplished network of alumni, who will visit the campus and address the students.
Some of the notable alumni include officers in the Indian Army, Indian Air Force, Senior-level Employees at popular MNCs like Amazon, Nokia, Honeywell, HCL, Qualcomm, among others. A feather in the cap is the appointment of REVA alumni who works as a Mission Designer for Advanced Propulsion Systems at NASA Marshall Space Flight Centre. The journey of all these alumni will be learning lessons for REVAites.

Whether you want to become an entrepreneur, or a politician, or want to pursue higher studies at foreign universities, you will be classified into separate focus groups, and an expert in your chosen group will address all your queries individually.
Such student outreach programmes and engagement activities are designed to ensure that students get first-hand exposure to the industry and they can make informed choices before making career decisions.
Future begins here
Among many achievements, REVA has many firsts to its credit. The School of Performing Arts & Indic Studies, REVA University, is the first university in South India to offer UG and PG programs in Kathak, Mohiniyattam, Kuchipudi, Odissi, and Bharatanatyam dance forms under one roof.
It is the only University in the Country to offer specialized courses in the areas of Multi-disciplinary studies. The University made many breakthroughs during the pandemic and was a forerunner in launching the JEEVA SETHU, which induces artificial respiration.
Furthermore, REVA was the first University to adopt digital learning, and switched to online classes much before the state government mandated the same. REVA was the first University to hold virtual convocation in South India.
REVA also takes pride in the fact that the incubation centre – REVA NEST- has industry collaboration with CISCO, NASSCOM Foundation, LG Soft India Pvt Ltd for the incubation program. REVA NEST has been awarded the “Start-up Project of the year” at Global Education Skills MSME and Entrepreneurship Summit Leadership Award 2020
Driven by the quality of education and academic excellence at the University, every year, hundreds of organizations join hands for placements at REVA. Some prominent organizations are Amazon, Practo Technologies, Comviva, CISCO, HCL, Infosys, among several others. Several hundreds of students are placed every year, and we are proud of the placement percentage increasing year-on-year.
