5 Days NATIONAL LEVEL VIRTUAL FDP On A Real-Time Cloud based IoT System for Environmental Monitoring Development and Validation 25th to 29th January, 2021
Internet of Things (IoT) is expected to play a major role in our lives through pervasive systems of sensor networks encompassing our environment. These systems are designed to monitor vital physical phenomena generating data which can be transmitted and saved at cloud from where this information can be accessed through applications and further actions can be taken.
The School of CSE, REVA University has planned for 5 Days NATIONAL LEVEL VIRTUAL FACULTY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME titled, "A Real-Time Cloud based IoT System for Environmental Monitoring: Development and Validation", from 25th to 29th January, 2021. The FDP covers the implementation and results of an environmental monitoring system which employs sensors for temperature and humidity of the surrounding area.
The resource person of the FDP, JINO RAMSON from Purdue University, USA, is an experienced Postdoctoral Researcher with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry, skilled in Wireless Sensor Networks, IoT system design and Embedded system design. He is a strong research professional with a Doctor of Philosophy focused in Wireless Sensor Networks.
