School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, REVA University, in association with the University Industry Interaction Cell (UIIC), successfully organized an Industrial Visit & Training Program at Adani Dahanu Thermal Power Station (ADTPS) and Adani Power Training and Research Institute (APTRI), Dahanu, Maharashtra, from 27 April 2026 to 2 May 2026. The program provided students with valuable industrial exposure to large-scale thermal power generation, instrumentation, automation, and safety practices followed in modern power plants. During the visit, students explored key sections of the thermal power station including turbine systems, generators, control rooms, and SCADA-based monitoring systems, gaining practical understanding beyond classroom learning. Expert sessions conducted by industry professionals at APTRI enhanced students’ knowledge in industrial operations, sustainability practices, environmental management, and workplace safety aligned with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The visit encouraged students to develop professional skills, technical competence, teamwork, and awareness of industrial standards essential for future careers in the energy and power sector. Under the guidance of faculty coordinators Dr. Ananda M H and Manoj D, the program was successfully completed with active participation and enthusiastic involvement from all students.
