School of Management Studies, REVA University organised a five-day Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Advancing Research Excellence: Contemporary Research Methods and Scholarly Publishing” from 20 to 24 July 2026 in hybrid mode.
The FDP was designed to strengthen the research competencies of faculty members, research scholars, and academicians through exposure to contemporary research methodologies, advanced analytical tools, and scholarly publishing practices.
The programme featured expert sessions on qualitative research, research consultancy, Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM), E-Views, Gretl, research schema, publication strategies, research networking, and scholarly publishing. Participants also gained practical insights into research design, data analysis, publication ethics, journal selection, and strategies for publishing in reputed Scopus, ABDC, and Web of Science-indexed journals.
The five-day programme included interactive expert lectures, practical demonstrations, discussions, and knowledge-sharing sessions. The sessions enabled participants to enhance their qualitative and quantitative research skills, strengthen their understanding of statistical tools, develop publication-oriented research, and explore opportunities for research collaboration and consultancy.
The FDP concluded with valuable feedback from participants, who appreciated the relevance and quality of the sessions.
