School of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences of REVA University conducted an expert lecture on 9th September 2022. The expert lecture was attended by the students and faculties of vivid streams.
The resource person, Dr. Kabirdoss Devi has experience of 19 years with 6 years of industrial experience and 13 years of academic experience. She completed her Ph.D. in the topic of comparison between mutual funds and ULIPS to choose the best avenue for investors from a cost and return perspective. She has done various certification courses which are helpful in the teaching-learning process. She has organized and participated in national and international conferences/workshops and faculty development programs.
The lecture started with discussions on the concepts related to the share market and the difference between primary and secondary markets was highlighted. The various financial instruments were also discussed.
The students showed keen interest in the contemporary topic and participated in the event with enthusiasm. The concepts were clear and crisp. The myth related to it was also discussed in detail. The faculty coordinator was Dr. Nidhi Kulshrestha. It was indeed a successful and fruitful event.
