Bangalore Bioinnovation Centre is organized webinar series on “BIG Awareness” in collaboration with Department of Biotechnology, School of Applied Sciences, REVA University and SINE IIT Bombay. The Program was conducted on 21st January 2022 at 11AM-12PM and Resource persons are Dr. Santaram Katta, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, REVA University; Mrs. Bratati Mukherjee, Program Manager, Society for Innovation & Entrepreneurship-SINE IIT Bombay; Ms. Ankita Puranik, Innovation and Ecosystem Development Officer, Bangalore Bioinnovation Center.

Dr. Santaram Katta have presented a topic on “Entrepreneurship Development in Lifesciences: Opportunities for Academia” to M.Sc. Biotechnology and M.Sc. Bioinformatics Students of Department of Biotechnology, REVA University. The Program is to understand the funding opportunities and entrepreneurship opportunities in the field of Life Sciences. Students can understand the BIRAC, DBT and DST funding opportunities and methods of applying for funding support. The students interacted actively with all the speakers. The talk was informative and interactive. The event ended with vote of thanks.
