A team of faculty delegates and student volunteers from the School of Management Studies, REVA University attended the Connected Commerce Conclave, organised by the Retailers Association of India (RAI) on 30 July 2026 at Grand Sheraton, Bangalore.
Among the faculty Director of School of Management Studies Dr.Nitu Ghosh,HOD School of Commerce Prof. Naresh, HOD Dr. Harish K. S, IQAC Vertical Head Dr.Nagaraju L.G and Dr.Maria Boaler attended the event. The student volunteers were students from BBA I, III and V Semesters.
The conclave provided an excellent platform for participants to gain insights into the evolving retail and commerce landscape, emerging industry trends, and the changing expectations of consumers and businesses. The faculty delegates and student coordinators had the opportunity to interact with industry professionals, understand contemporary practices, and gain valuable perspectives on the future of connected commerce.
The participation enabled students to bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world industry practices, while faculty members gained insights that can be integrated into teaching, curriculum development, and industry-oriented academic activities.Students even received a certificate of participation from RAI.
The visit was a valuable experiential learning opportunity that strengthened industry–academia engagement and enhanced the students’ understanding of the dynamic retail and commerce ecosystem
