To introduce students to the concept, types, and significance of man-made elements in landscape design, and to develop an understanding of how these elements can be thoughtfully integrated to enhance functionality, aesthetics, cultural expression, and environmental harmony in outdoor spaces. The lecture aims to encourage a sensitive, sustainable, and context-aware approach to designing and incorporating built features within natural landscapes.
