IEEE Symposium on Power Electronics and Artificial Intelligence

The School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and the School of Electronics and Communication Engineering at REVA University, in association with the IEEE PELS Student Chapter and IEEE PELS Bangalore Chapter, successfully organized the IEEE Symposium on Power Electronics and Artificial Intelligence. The symposium featured expert sessions delivered by Dr. Tapas Roy, Assistant Professor, Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, and Dr. Prema V., Associate Professor, BMSE and Chair of the IEEE PELS Bangalore Chapter. The sessions focused on emerging developments in power electronics, the integration of artificial intelligence in modern power systems, and the growing role of intelligent control techniques in next-generation energy and electric mobility applications. The event provided valuable insights to students, researchers, and faculty members, fostering knowledge exchange and strengthening academic–industry collaboration in the fields of power electronics and AI.
