The School of Legal Studies, REVA University, in association with the Literary and Debate Society and the SPARSH Committee, organized the International Women’s Day Celebration 2026 on 6 March 2026 at the Chanakya Auditorium. The event, themed “Udaan – Women with Wings,” celebrated the achievements of women and promoted awareness about gender equality, empowerment, and leadership.
The programme was graced by Smt. Sudha Koka, Member of the GST Appellate Tribunal (Centre) and an officer of the Indian Revenue Service, as the Chief Guest. Dr. Beena G., Registrar (Evaluation), REVA University, attended the event as the Guest of Honour, while Dr. Aruna Kammila, Director, School of Legal Studies, presided over the programme as the President.
The celebration began with the formal inauguration and welcome of the dignitaries. The speakers emphasized the significance of International Women’s Day and the importance of creating equal opportunities for women in all spheres of life. The event was successfully coordinated by Dr. Sana Humd and Ms. Harmeet Kaur.
