The FDP is organized to give a deeper insight of IPR in protecting the innovations legally and the various skill sets for carrying out effective research and the documentation in terms of scientific writing.

The protection of Intellectual property is crucial in conferring the legal rights to the innovative research advances in the Universities as in Industries. The rights not only ensure recognition for innovations but also creates a competitive platform for quality research and innovations thereby culminating in technical advancement through new processes and products. The sessions will take the participants through an enlightening journey of various IPRs in Innovation, patentability search and drafting & filing of the patent. The REVA IPR Cell is established at REVA University in association with KSCST with this moto.

The three days sessions on scientific writing and recent trends in research will give a broader perspective of the scientific documentation of project proposals and drafting of quality research paper for publication in peer reviewed journals with good impact factor. The later sessions will also touch upon the ethical practices in research. The sessions will also highlight the advancements in fields such as microscopy and flow cytometry for carrying out effective research.
