National Science Day is a regular event which is practiced every year at REVA University to ignite the young minds towards science and research for the development of technology.

This year we celebrate the National Science Day was observed on 9th and 10th of March 2022, with the theme “Integrated approach in science and technology for a sustainable future”, declared by the Prime Minister of India Mr. Narendra Modhiji. It is a two days event inaugurated by our honorable Chancellor Dr. P. Shymaraju, The Vice Chancellor Dr. M. Dhanamjaya, The Registrar, Dr. N. Ramesh and the guest of Honour and key note speaker Dr. Shankaranarayana Rao BS, Registrar, NIMHANS, Bengaluru, witnessed the inauguration. To give the glimpse of life history of Sir. C. V. Raman a documentary was played during the inaugural event. Followed by various activities like Quiz, Collage, Model making, Spell Bee, Painting, Debate, Documentary, Idea competition and Science charades were organized parallelly around a central theme.

About 200 student participants from various institutions like Indian Academy of Sciences, Acharya institutions, KLE group of institution, MES, Jain University, Kristu Jayanti College, BMSCW, Presidency University, etc including REVA University participated in various competitions and won the prizes. The valedictory started by the address by the Guest of Honour Dr. A.B Halgeri, Director, Poornaprajna Institute of Scientific research, Bangalore. Vice Chancellor, Dr. M. Dhanamjaya and registrar Dr. N. Ramesh, graced the occasion. The event was concluded by the prize distribution to winners.
