International Women’s Day is celebrated worldwide on March 8 to recognize the achievements, strength, and contributions of women in society. The NCC unit organized a special outreach program in a village to honour elderly women and spread awareness about women’s empowerment and community participation. The event included interaction with villagers, fun activities for elderly women, and environmental initiatives like tree plantation. The program helped NCC cadets develop leadership, social responsibility, and community engagement.
