On 31st March 2023, the School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at REVA University in Bengaluru organized a one-day industrial visit for the 6th semester B.Tech students. The visit was to the Decibel Lab at RV College of Engineering, which specializes in Electric Vehicle (EV) research and development as well as the design and testing of various circuits and systems.
The purpose of this visit was to provide the students with hands-on experience and exposure to the practical aspects of their field of study. The visit was an excellent opportunity for the students to gain insight into the latest advancements and developments in the EV industry and its applications. The Decibel Lab is well-equipped with state-of-the-art equipment and infrastructure, making it an ideal destination for students to learn and explore the EV domain.
During the visit, the students were able to witness various stages of the EV design and development process, from the initial stages of design to the final testing and verification. The Decibel Lab team provided an in-depth explanation of the technical aspects of their work, including the design of various electrical circuits and systems for EVs, as well as the testing and validation of these designs.
