The Department of Biotechnology, School of Applied Sciences (SoAS), in association with the Bangalore Clinical Research Institute (BCRI), is organizing a One Day National Symposium titled “Beginning the Journey into Oncology and Clinical Research” on 18 February 2026 at REVA University, Bengaluru.

This national-level symposium aims to provide undergraduate and postgraduate students, research scholars, and early-career professionals with foundational knowledge and career insights in the rapidly growing fields of oncology and clinical research. The event will feature expert sessions by national and international speakers, focusing on cancer research, clinical trials, regulatory frameworks, and industry expectations.

Faculty members and mentors are requested to circulate the brochure widely, share this information within mentee groups, and actively encourage both internal and external students to register and participate. The symposium also includes opportunities for poster and oral research presentations, enabling participants to showcase their research and engage with experts.
