ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON 3Ds MAX and V-Ray

Description of the event (in not more than 200-250 words)
It is a one-day workshop on 3Ds MAX & V-Ray was organized by School of Civil Engineering in Association with University Industry Interaction Centre(UIIC), REVA University and EduCADD Bangalore for 6th semester students. The Resource persons are Mr. Hema Maheshwar & Mrs. Tejaswini from EduCADD, Baglur Main Road, yelahanka, Bengaluru. EduCADD is an Authorized CAD/CAM/CAE, Multimedia & Project Management company. In existence for over 20 years we offer end to end solutions in CAD (Computer Aided Design), CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) and CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) about 100 students were attended the workshop.
    
We would like to thank our beloved Chancellor Dr. P. Shyama Raju Sir for providing all facility and support to conduct such programmes. We also thank Vice Chancellor Dr. S. Y. Kulkarni Sir, Registrar Dr. M. Dhanamjaya Sir for their motivation to conduct Workshop.

We also thank our Director, School of CIVIL Dr. Y Ramalinga Reddy Sir and Skill Development coordinator, Prof. Sreenivasulu Reddy Sir for their constant support and guidance. We also thank all the faculties and technical staffs of School of Civil Engineering for their support.

Objectives of Workshop 

  • Essentials course is to enable students to create a basic 2D & 3D drawing in the 3Ds MAX software 
  • To create and modify simple and complex 3D solids and surfaces 
  • To create 3D geometry from 2D drawings 
  • Setting up a rendering with materials and lights 
  • The training course provides a thorough grounding in the fundamentals of 3D and explores the main features of the advanced 3D Modelling workspace in the 3Ds MAX software

Outcomes of Workshop

  • To Create layers to control the objects’ visibility. 
  • To create a full 2D/3D project model. 
  • To Navigate throughout 3Ds MAX using major navigating tools. 
  • To create construction documents. 
  • Create multiple designs using several of tools and Explain drawing using annotations
