One Day Workshop on REVIT Architecture

 The Resource person of the Workshop was Mr. M Manjunatha Reddy & Mrs. C M Prathima Reddy, SAI CADD, kengeri, Bengaluru

Around 100 students of 5th Semester from the School of Civil Engineering attended the Workshop.
 
The Workshop focused on following objectives:

• Describe building information modelling and bidirectional relationships in Revit.
• Understand the user interface, parametric objects and families, and    start projects using templates.
• Create and modify levels and grids.
• Create a basic floor plan, add and modify walls and compound walls, use editing tools, and work with doors and windows.
• Duplicate and manage views, control object visibility in views and create elevation, section, and 3D views.
• Create floors and ceilings, add roofs and curtain walls, work with stairs and railings in a building model.

We would like to thank our beloved Chancellor Dr. P. Shyama Raju Sir for providing all facility and support to conduct such programmes. We also thank Vice Chancellor Dr. S. Y. Kulkarni Sir, Registrar Dr. M. Dhanamjaya Sir, Dean, Placement, Training, and Planning Dr. N. Ramesh Sir for their motivation to conduct Workshop.

We also thank our Director, School of CIVIL Dr. Y Ramalinga Reddy Sir and Skill Development coordinator, Prof. Sreenivasulu Reddy Sir for their constant support and guidance. We also thank all the faculties and technical staffs of School of Civil Engineering for their support.
