Department of Media Studies, School of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences of REVA University organised a Photography exhibition for which the students could send their entries from 19th to 24thth April 2021. The submissions were directly mailed to the faculty in-charge. The competition had student entries. Students from various programmes contributed in the event with great eagerness. It was an individual event. Every participant had to submit an image of the objects. The theme of the competition was “Intimate objects”, and the students were expected to keep their submissions relevant to the theme. The criteria for judging were originality, composition, creativity. The event gave an exposure to the students to think creatively and use recycled material. The theme of the competition also encouraged the participants to discover a creative angle for their submissions during the times of a pandemic.
The coordinator was Asst. Prof. Bhagyalakshmi Balachadnran. The entries of the participants were judged by Asst.Prof. Manjunath and Asst. Prof Chandan Raikar.
