Description:
The Parent Teachers Meeting for B.Tech III, V and VII semesters was scheduled on 18.11.2022 and 21.11.2022 to discuss student’s progress and performance at School of Civil Engineering. The Parents were intimated about the meeting well in advance through SMS/Phone call by mentors.
The Mentors was conducted one to one meeting in room No 219, 220 and School staff room, 2nd floor, School of Civil Engineering, Sir M.V Block from 9.00 AM to 4.00 PM.
All the Mentors and Year Coordinators interacted with the parents and students. Mentors had an extensive and interactive session with the student/parent’s w.r.t following parameter.
1. Performance of student in first test (IA-1).
2. Attendance of student.
3. Discipline & attitude expectation from student - in academic circle and placement drives.
4. Awaiting for exam guidelines and accordingly we will be conducting offline test and exam- hence inform to the students to prepare for offline test/exam.
5. Tuition Fee Dues and convince the parents about teachers’ effort put in taking classes, labs, placement drives, organizing of farewell, convocation etc. Remind the parents about their commitments.
Outcomes of Parent Teachers Meeting:
1. Around 110 parents and 398 students attended virtual the Parents - Teachers Meeting.
2. One to One interaction between Parents and Mentor Teachers.
3. IA-1 performance of individual student is discussed with parents.
4. Discussion was focused on student’s specific strengths and weakness in individual subjects, attendance percentage.
5. Many parents are agreed to conduct the Practical/SEE exams. Hence in this regard informed to students to prepare for offline test/exam.
6. Parents Feedback was taken through Feedback form and has been documented for reference.
All the parents were very happy with classes and timely completion of syllabus and Internal Tests and were satisfied with facilities given to the students. Parents insisted to conduct Placements for students. They also expressed their gratitude regarding the care taken by the University for the Growth of their wards and regular updates about their wards progress by the Mentors, Class Teachers and Director.
