REVA University appreciates course enrichment by guest lectures offered by in-house faculty members in their areas of expertise. School of Architecture, REVA University organized an expert lecture on (Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning) HVAC Lecture for the 6th semester students, as part of their curriculum, by Prof. Vimala Swamy where they have to be introduced to HVAC components, working principles, types and its applications. 

Prof. Vimala Swamy started with overview on basics of mechanical ventilation and Airconditioning system. She explained about various types of Mechanical ventilation and its application. She elaborated on Airconditioning types, components involved, its working principles and application, such as Centralized Airconditioning system, its types, application & details. 

Outcomes of the expert lecture
1. Basics of Mechanical ventilation and Air Conditioning System
2. Working principles of various types of Airconditioning systems
3. Applications and components of HVAC
4. Elaborate explanation of centralized Air Conditioning System.
This lecture was an interesting session and helped the students gain a practical knowledge different from the regular lectures.
