- The difference between pre-incubation, incubation and acceleration.
- Staff and funding for the incubator
- Mentoring and networking for the incubator.

In this talk series Shri. Muthu Singaram, CEO, IIT Madras HTIC Incubator discussed the following points:
- Shri. Muthu Singaram, CEO, IIT Madras HTIC Incubator Explained Role and importance of Pre – Incubators, Incubators and Accelerators in HEIs – Harnessing Innovation and Entrepreneurial potential of students and faculties at early stage.
- He also explained Pre incubation and Incubation Management in HEIs. The pre incubation will be for 3 to 6 months and for Incubation will be 3 to 5 years and also Pharma companies will take up to 7 years to graduate.
- The incubation can be formed by nonprofit organization (Society, section 8 company, trust) and section 8 model is best for incubation program.
- Incubation program is independent program and we need to setup all the facility like infrastructure, mentoring, seed funding, legal support etc. from incubator side.
- With the clear intension of to build the startup ecosystem in all the HEIs should focus on building a pre incubation & incubation program in all the Higher education sectors.

Shyama Raju Sir for providing all facility for such events. We also thank Vice Chancellor Dr. S.Y. Kulkarni, Registrar Dr. M. Dhanamjaya, for providing all the facilities, support and encouragement towards the sessions. We also thank Dr. Kiran Kumari Patil, President, REVA IIC for Involvement 
for taking up to encourage the students towards this sessions.
