REPORT ON RANGOLI COMPETITION

VENUE: 6th floor open space, Swami Vivekananda Block ORGANISING COMMITTEE: School of Management Studies

Rangoli / Pookalam Contest was organized by School of Management Studies on the occasion of the religious festival ONAM, It has been successfully held on 8th September 2022.

ONAM is a culture festival that is celebrated mostly in the southernmost states of India, which is Kerala. Onam festival is also called the festival of flowers and Pookalam is one of the forms of celebrating this grand festival, this is referred to as ritual where people make designs on the floor and decorate that with various floors.

Student were informed about this event in prior, they have enthusiastically registered and taken part in it and made it a grand success.

The final judgement was made by Dr. Nitu Ghosh, Director, School of Management Studies and Dr. Subramanyam, Director, School of Commerce. The criteria for judgement were design, innovation and creativity, neatness and cleanliness, overall appearance and appeal.

ACTIVITY:

This event was held under the guidance of faculty coordinator Prof. Manasa N, Extracurricular vertical head and student coordinator Miss. Pragathi Baradia, Mr. Sagar G, Miss Shivangi, Mr Hanan and Mr Rithwik.
