Report on visit to under construction site at DivyaSree 77 Degree Town Centre

OBJECTIVE- The visit to under construction project site was organized as a part of curriculum for 6th semester students of Architecture. The study gave an insight to the students regarding transmitting drawings prepared in architectural studios to actual project sites.

ABOUT THE STUDY
As a part of curriculum, for Building Construction & Working Drawing, Students were taken to an under-construction project site by DivyaSree Developers, at 77 Degree Town Centre, Yemalur, Marathahalli, Bangalore. The project is an upcoming commercial building. The project is in the initial phases of construction, foundations, basement and columns have been constructed. 

The students were taken to the project so that they understand the technicalities of execution and construction of architectural projects. The site engineers and faculties explained various drawings and construction details to the students with reference to the existing working drawings of project.
 
SITE VISIT OUTCOME

• The site visit helped in understanding various technical details needed during construction
• The students got the opportunity to see construction of various structural members like isolated footing, service ducts, shear walls and retaining walls.
• The working drawings of the project were shared with the students which helped them in better understanding of the level of details needed in preparation of working drawings.
