Notable amongst her earliest   work is the organic making of the international art residency hub 1Shanthi Road ART Residency, that has grown to be a unique institution, and a rare kind of home to Bangalore city, and over years, one that has received many many accolades. Her firm grew to take on range of expertise that extends from architecture, interiors, landscape to site planning for projects of a larger scale.
Her philosophy is to create built environments that may be inanimate but are firmly rooted in their context and have a special living quality to them. In her projects she strives to push the programme and strive to design spaces for an “extended social ecology” wherever possible, by forming spaces that are open-ended, and of multiple use in nature. It’s her vision to bring people together in as many ways and make attempt to create “good interface spaces between the project and outside world. When it comes to making, Meeta’s all consuming passion lies in finer detailing of a building and crafting a specific visual language for each project., as well to it perfect technical soundness,
The USP of her design studio is the wide spectrum of scale the firm has delivered. Employing multiple collaborations, right from product design scale on one hand to the city scale on another, the firm has done many notable award-winning projects. Currently her firm is working on large public space government project, a Cultural Park in royal centre of Mysore location @ Dusshera Exhibition Grounds. Some of her present institutional architectural projects are in the heritage cities of Varanasi and Hampi.
She works with a team of 6 to 8 designers in her studio. Vagish Naganur, a landscape architect also an alumnus of CEPT is a resident consultant for MJA. Apart from the private clientele projects, her studio is also active in the community sphere contributing to many public Art and Education projects that benefit the city as a whole. In 2009 she founded MapBee , a design collective  , which is driven to work for  ‘spaces for change’ that also became a way of working with different creative practitioners, bringing them under one umbrella  and to discover new ways of making spaces via temporary space gestures. So far MapBee has done projects in realm of ART in public space, education, waste recycling, mobile exhibitions, play spaces and dismantlable spaces.
