SANSKRITI 2026 cultural event

The SANSKRITI 2026 cultural event was organized by the School of Commerce, REVA University, under the Cultural Heritage Club for UG and PG Commerce students. The event aimed to celebrate India’s rich cultural heritage and provide a platform for students to showcase their artistic talents while promoting awareness and appreciation of traditional art forms.

Conducted on February 26 and 27, 2026, the programme featured a variety of competitions and cultural activities reflecting India’s diverse traditions. On the first day, students participated in Traditional Painting on Cloth, where they created artworks inspired by classical styles such as Kalamkari and Pattachitra. A heritage-based quiz titled “Decode the Heritage” was also conducted, encouraging students to explore and deepen their knowledge of India’s historical and cultural legacy.

The second day of the event focused on performing arts. Students enthusiastically took part in Solo Classical or Folk Dance performances, presenting renowned Indian dance forms such as Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Kuchipudi, and Odissi. In addition, a Classical Singing Competition featuring devotional and traditional music provided a stage for participants to demonstrate their musical abilities.
