Number of participants: 180 Inhouse students.
Activity Conducted: Dept. of Biotechnology, School of Applied Sciences, under ECO club in association with Isha Foundation organized a Save soil campaign on 31st May , 2022, 180 + students and Faculty members of B.Sc. had attended the session.
Prof Aruna.J, Ms Vani Rao, Mr. Anand Hariharan , delegates from Isha Foundation have been working under Sadguru’s ISHA FOUNDATION for years now. They have been continuously working on a common causing of saving our mother earth by saving our top soil, which is being degraded by human intervention. The students gathered there were given awareness of the situation of how our soil is being degraded and what as young minds could do to save the further more degradation of soil. The session was very effective and interactive that many students who attended the session shared their views in the open platform. All of us took a pledge to SAVE OUR SOIL and make this earth a better place to live.
