Seminar on FIRE in Special Concrete

The Resource person of the Technical Talk was Dr. Harinadha Reddy, Centre of Earth Science, IISc, Bengaluru.   

Around 200 students from the School of Civil Engineering attended the Technical Talk.
 
The Technical Talk focused on following key points:

• What is the effect of fire on structures?
• Behavior of concrete at high temperatures.
• Creep, Shrinkage, mechanical deformations under high temperature.
• Temperature differences in the core concrete and external concrete.
• Experimental methods and procedure for conducting concrete test under fire.

We would like to thank our beloved Chancellor Dr. P. Shyama Raju  for providing all facility and support to conduct such programmes. We also thank Vice Chancellor Dr. S. Y. Kulkarni , Registrar Dr. M. Dhanamjaya, Dean, Placement, Training, and Planning    Dr. N. Ramesh Sir for their motivation to conduct Technical Talks.

We also thank our Director, School of CIVIL Dr. Y Ramalinga Reddy and Team Head, Dr. Mohan Kumar T M for their constant support and guidance. We also thank all the faculties and technical staffs of School of Civil Engineering for their support.
