Seminar Report

The School of EEE had organized a seminar by Dr. Rajashekar P Mandi , Director, School of EEE, REVA University. He is a BEE certified energy auditor with vast industrial experience.The seminar was related to electrical safety, Indian Electricity Rules, Safety precautions and Trouble shooting of Electrical Equipments.The lecture was successfully organized for the 8th semester students of School of EEE.

Seminar focused on the following key points:

• Importance of Electrical safety.
• Indian Electricity Rules.
• Electrical safety standards and rules.
• Case studies from industry.
• Importance of earthing.
• Trouble Shooting of Electrical Equipments.

Following are the outcomes achieved with this seminar:

• The importance of electrical safety in the lives of every human being.
• With this session students were able know different courses related to electrical safety along with job opportunities and Certifications 
• Students were able to understand the live electrical accidents and case studies of industries related to electrical safety 
• Gain the knowledge about Indian Electricity rules and standards related to electrical safety.
