On 10th February 2023, the School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering at REVA University organized the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with L&T EduTech at the Kalpana Chawla Seminar Hall, REVA University. The objective of this program was to provide students with access to the MOOC courses offered by L&T EduTech, an initiative under Larsen & Toubro that aims to bridge the gap between industry and academia, enhancing the employability of students and career progression for professionals across engineering and technology sectors.
The MoU was signed by Dr. M Dhanamjaya, Vice Chancellor, REVA University, and Mrs. M F Febin, Head-College Connect Business, L&T EduTech, in the presence of Mr. Mayank Ranjan, Manager, Institutional Connect, L&T EduTech, Dr. Rajashekhar C Biradar, Pro Vice Chancellor, REVA University, Directors of School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, School of Mechanical Engineering, School of Civil Engineering, faculty members, and students.
This collaboration will provide industry exposure to REVA University students, guiding and enhancing their skills across engineering and technology sectors. The MoU also offers a platform for practical and application-oriented learning to REVA University students, and they will be able to take certification courses in core engineering and information technology fields offered by L&T EduTech.
The session was held from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM and was attended by students and faculties of the School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, the Vice Chancellor, the Pro-Vice Chancellor, and Directors of other Schools. Overall, this MoU signing is expected to have a positive impact on the professional development and career prospects of the students at REVA University.
