Smart India Hackathon 2020 is a nationwide initiative from MHRD Innovation Cell to provide students a platform to solve some of pressing problems we face in our daily lives, and thus inculcate a culture of product innovation and a mind-set of problem solving.
Following the tremendous success of Smart India Hackathon (SIH) in the last 3 consecutive years, the upcoming edition, SIH 2020 will involve intense competition for consecutive hours in a stipulated time frame.
It will offer unique opportunity for participants to:
Considering the current COVID 19 pandemic, the Software Edition of Smart India Hackathon 2020 Grand Finale will be conducted through an online platform for the first time on 1st, 2nd & 3rd of August 2020.
All the participants, mentors, judges, jury panel, nodal center manpower shall get connected virtually through the online platform that will provide an ease of access to conduct the event and to maintain the legacy of SIH impact on Indian innovation ecosystem.
Software Edition of SIH2020 Grand Finale has been planned in 39 Nodal Centers across India.
The MHRD Innovation cell has identified REVA University as one of the Nodal Center, and 234 students in 39 teams across India have been assigned to our center and these students will be solving the problem statements provided by Amazon Web Services (AWS), Cisco DEVNET and GE Healthcare.
It is our responsibility to host this Grand Finale (virtual) by making all the necessary arrangements.
