Systematic Application of Chemical Nano Science and Metabolomics in near Future

The School of Allied Health Sciences had organized a virtual Symposium on Systematic Application of Chemical Nano Science and Metabolomics in near Future on 08/06/2021. The event was presided over by our Chancellor Sir, Dr. P Shymaraju and Vice Chancellor Dr. M Dhanamjaya.

The first session was from 9:15 – 10:15 by Dr. Paramasivam N, Senior Scientist, Drug Metabolism, Abbvie, California, USA. Sir delivered a lecture on the Recent and Future prospects of Metabolites profiling in early clinical development, and also he explained the importance of Ubiquitin with drug metabolites.

Metabolomics is the term coined for essentially comprehensive, nonbiased, high-throughput analyses of complex metabolite mixtures typical of plants and animals. Metabolomics is an approach that employs technologies to measure small molecule metabolites in biological samples, thus providing epidemiologists and other investigators with a means to discover biomarkers of disease risk, diagnosis, and prognosis in living system.

The next session was at 10:30 to 11:30 am on ” Sophisticated analytical techniques-based Metabolic profiling” by Dr. Vimalraj Mani, who is a senior postdoctoral research associate in metabolomics department at Rural Development Administration, South Korea. One of the finest Korean govt. research institute under Food and Agriculture ministry. Who has specialized in metabolomics engineering and profiling of wide range of plant species. He holds his doctorate from Jeonbuk National University, South Korea.

The third session started at 11:45 am to 12:45 pm on “Novel Visible light driven photocatalyst for environmental and biomedical application” by Dr. Harshavardhan, Mohan, an Indo- Singaporean descendant is an ambitious researcher working as Postdoc in Jeonbuk National University, South Korea, striving to promote environmental biotechnology for he has been nature person.

We thank our Honorable Chancellor Dr. P. Shyamaraju and Vice chancellor Dr. M. Dhanamjaya for constantly encouraging us in conducting such events. Lastly we would like to thank all the faculty and staffs of School of Allied Health Sciences for their active involvement in meticulously executing such tasks.
