VISIT TO WORLD COFFEE CONFERENCE

The 5th world coffee community gathered in Bangalore for four days of engaging debate at the 5th World Coffee Conference, hosted by the Government of India and in connection with the G20 under the country’s presidency. The main organizers were the Indian Coffee Organization (ICO) and is organized once every four years. The main organizers were the International Coffee Organization, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, Coffee Board of India and Government of Karnataka. The students of BSc. Nutrition and Dietetics and MSc. Biochemistry of School of Allied Health Sciences attended this conference to gain an exposure to various ideas and understand the process of coffee, from farm to cup. The exhibition brought together diverse cultures and traditions of coffee making and various innovative ideas.
