Description:  School of Electronics and Communication Engineering organized a Webinar on " Robotics Process Automation as a career choice” on 20th July 2020 at 11:00 am to 12:00 noon. The resource persons were Mr. Pradeep.M, Director-Information Technology, Netalla Innovations Private Limited and Ms. Bhavna Sharma, Sr Manager Academic Aliance at Netenzaa.

Mr. Pradeep. M, Director-Information Technology, Netalla Innovations Private Limited has 16+ years of experience in Education and in IT. He is certified Blue Prism RPA professional. He is also a technical consultant for Artech Info Systems. He has nearly given 80+ seminars and workshops pan India. He is also a CCNA and CCNP certified network specialist, Has 2 patents in the area of SDN and virtualization.

Ms. Bhavna Sharma, Sr Manager Academic Aliance at Netenzaa is a 'Learning and Development' and Recruitment specialist. She has more than 15years of experience in corporate training and student learning. Her experience on technology and student training gives Netalla a perfect combined expertise to execute the entire Academia programme and mentor students towards the right career path.

Robotic process automation (or RPA) is a form of business process automation technology based on metaphorical software robots (bots) or on artificial intelligence (AI)/digital workers.
The key highlights of the webinar were on

•    Can a non-CS/IT branch also choose RPA?
•    Demonstration on creation of a Bot.
•    Demonstration of Creation of facebook account through Bot. 

The webinar was attended by more than 65 attendees from across the schools and got insights in to the Robotics Process Automation.
