About Speakers 

Dr. Yashaswini: a Scientist- Entrepreneur and Co-founder of an alt-Protein start-up Mycovation. It is Asia’s first Mycelium-based food-tech company developing novel ingredients and meat alternatives using fermentation technology. She is the Chief product officer responsible for process and product development and has over 12 years of academic and research experience; she also has a Ph.D. in biotechnology with a specialization in protein engineering from the University of Mysore.

Nachiket: He holds a B.Tech from IIT Bombay followed by a Master’s in Chemical Engineering from IIT Kanpur. Nachiket leads the research division of KFPL. KFPL is a social enterprise that has pioneered flower cycling technology to prevent the river Ganges from turning into a religious sewer. KFPL utilizes pollutants as their raw material and through technological breakthroughs, repurpose it into innovative products such as Phool- Charcoal-free incense sticks and cones, Fleather- An animal-free, sustainable alternative to conventional leather.
