Research Project

My research focuses on the development and characterization of sustainable materials, particularly biopolymers and polymer-based composites as environmentally friendly alternatives to conventional plastics. I am interested in exploring the design, synthesis, and modification of biopolymer systems to enhance their mechanical, thermal, and barrier properties for various applications such as packaging, coatings, and biomedical materials.

My work integrates principles of polymer chemistry, green synthesis, and materials science to create high-performance, biodegradable, and renewable materials. Current research efforts include optimizing biopolymer blends and composites using natural fibers and bio-fillers, investigating structure–property relationships, and evaluating degradation behavior to ensure sustainability throughout the material life cycle.
