Pass in PUC / 10+2 of any recognized Board / Council or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.

Overview

B.A. in Journalism and Mass Communication is a three-year undergraduate course designed to offer comprehensive fundamental training in ten different fields of mass communication and various fields in journalism.

Journalism has undergone massive changes in the past few decades and students with BA in Journalism and Mass Communication will be trained to work in the ever-changing, dynamic environments of media organisations.

With internship opportunities in the final year of the programme, students will gain hands-on learning experience.

After few years of graduation, the graduates of B.A. Journalism and Mass Communication will be able to:

Disciplinary knowledge: Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge and in understanding Journalism and Mass Communication study.

Reasoning: Analyze, interpret and draw conclusions from evidence and experiences from an open-minded and reasoned perspective.

Problem solving: Extrapolate and apply their competencies to solve different kinds of non-familiar problems and apply one’s learning to real life situations using curriculum content knowledge.
