School of Legal Studies organizing an Alternate Judgment Writing competition with an aim to promote research abilities and interpretation skills in students. The objective of the competition is to inculcate drafting, analytical and writing skills, and to prepare the students to deal with current judicial trends. The competition will introduce students to the mechanism of judicial drafting and help them to apply natural justice principle as well as rule of law for the interpretation of legal provisions. This competition is an initiative to ignite the minds of the students and encourage them to assume the roles of both lawyers and judges. The greatest strength of this competition is to engage the students with multi-tasking of both creative lawyering and innovative judging.
