In today’s rapidly evolving academic and social landscape, research in the Liberal Arts demands innovative, interdisciplinary approaches. Traditional disciplinary boundaries often limit the scope of inquiry, while real-world issues – climate change, inequality, cultural identity, and digital transformation – require collaborative and integrated perspectives. This two-day workshop on Interdisciplinary Approaches to Research in Liberal Arts seeks to equip participants with theoretical insights, creative methodologies, and practical tools that transcend silos and foster meaningful knowledge integration. By engaging with themes such as eco-animation, performance studies, psychology, ethnography, and digital humanities, the workshop emphasizes the value of critical inclusivity, decolonized frameworks, and socially impactful research. Aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the workshop aims to empower students, scholars, and faculty to reimagine research practices that are collaborative, inclusive, and globally relevant.
