The immersion programme offered by the School of C&IT is for students who have enrolled at REVA for the year 2020. The course is designed to serve the basics that is needed for a Computer Science Engineering Graduate. The takeaways of the Microsoft Office course will help in having a confident base for future from technical as well as interpersonal skills required. This is a 8 days programme which culminates with e-certificates being offered to successful candidates.
DAY 01: Working with Microsoft Word
- Introduction to Microsoft Word, Text Basics, Formatting Text, Working with Tables
- Formatting Paragraphs, Inserting Illustrations, Proofing features, Modifying Page layout
- Working with Lists, Using WordArt
DAY 02: Hands on sessions on Microsoft Word
- Write a leave letter, bio-data and an article on current affairs in the world.
DAY 03: Working with Microsoft Power Point
- Introduction to Microsoft Power point, Presentation Basics, Text Basics,
- Inserting Picture, Working with Table, Working with charts, Slide Effects and Shortcut Keys
DAY 04: Hands on session Microsoft Power Point
- Create a power point presentation on a topic chosen
DAY 05: Working with Microsoft Excel
- Introduction to Microsoft Excel, Excel worksheet, Excel calculation, Excel Fill handle
- Excel Formula, Excel IF, Excel Advanced and Short Keys
DAY 06: Hands on session on Microsoft Excel
- Create a worksheet to calculate the Income Tax of an employee or salary of a person in a Organization
DAY 07: Working with Microsoft Outlook
- Introduction to Microsoft Outlook, Setup and customize, create and send a mail
- Manage email, Contacts and tasks and calendar
DAY 08: Hands on session with Microsoft Outlook
- Write a mail to Head of the department requesting for a leave or to take permission for attending a competition in other college.
