Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan – Drug Abuse Awareness Campaign

Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan – Drug Abuse Awareness Campaign

As part of the Government of India's flagship initiative, Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (Drug-Free India Campaign), REVA University organized a Drug Abuse Awareness Campaign on 23 June 2026 at Kuvempu Auditorium. The programme was aimed at creating awareness among students about the harmful effects of drug abuse, the importance of healthy lifestyle choices, and the collective responsibility of society in combating substance abuse.

The event was jointly organized by the NCC Army Wing, REVA University, in association with Bengaluru City Police, Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), National Service Scheme (NSS), Office of Student Affairs, and REVA Independent PU College. The initiative aligned with the national mission of promoting a drug-free society through awareness, education, and preventive action.

The programme served as an effective platform to sensitize students about the physical, psychological, social, and legal consequences of substance abuse while encouraging them to become ambassadors of the “Say No to Drugs” movement.
