The School of Commerce organized an Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) on 18-05-2026 with the aim of encouraging students to consider entrepreneurship as a viable and rewarding career option after graduation. The programme was conducted to create awareness about self-employment opportunities, nurture entrepreneurial thinking, and help students understand the wide range of career possibilities available within the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
During the session, the resource person emphasized the growing importance of entrepreneurship in the modern competitive environment and motivated students to become innovative job creators rather than depending solely on traditional employment opportunities. The programme also provided valuable insights into various business avenues such as startups, digital enterprises, retail businesses, service sectors, freelancing, and social entrepreneurship, enabling students to explore diverse opportunities for building successful careers through entrepreneurship.
