School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, REVA University, successfully conducted a One-Day AR/VR Workshop Series for 1st Semester students on 17 February 2026. The workshop, coordinated by Prof. Burri Ankaiah, was designed to provide foundational knowledge and practical exposure to Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technologies. A total of 20 participants attended the session, where they explored core concepts of immersive technologies, real-time 3D visualization, application development basics, and emerging industry trends in AR/VR across domains such as education, healthcare, gaming, and smart manufacturing. The hands-on approach enabled students to understand the integration of hardware and software components involved in AR/VR systems, encouraging innovation and experiential learning. This workshop reflects the School of EEE’s commitment to equipping students with cutting-edge technological skills aligned with Industry 4.0 advancements.
