The School of EEE had organized a seminar by alumni on " Importance of Ethical Hackers in new era of Cyber space & Cyber crime " on 27th November, 2018 between 10.30 AM to 12.30 AM at Room No. 410, Sir C V Raman Block for B.Tech. 1st Semester students.
Mr. Subba Rao.V.B, Cyber Analyst in event Tracker Cyber Intelligence of India Bangalore was the resource person.
Mr. Subba Rao.V.B completed his Bachelor of Engineering in the Department of Electrical & Electronics (2011 to 2015) at REVA ITM.
Seminar focused on the following key points:
1. Introduction to Hacking
2. Brief Introduction of Ethical hacking
3. Need of Ethical hackers
Following are the outcomes achieved with this seminar:
1. Students gained knowledge about fundamentals of hacking and ethical hacking.
2. They understood the necessity of ethical hackers in this era of cyber crime & cyber space.
3. The students were motivated & gained confidence to become a successful electrical engineer.
4. Students were exposed to various ethical job opportunities in the area of cyber crime.
5. The session provided a great exposure to students for their future Projects as well as higher studies.
