The lecture covered 'SPSS' at basic level, which is proven to be productive in the field of research. The objective of this lecture was to train the research scholars and faculty members of REVA University for enrichment of knowledge on data analytics tools and techniques. The lecture aimed to develop an understanding of data analytics tools and techniques using Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) software to comprehend the nuances of research methodology and data analysis. It aimed at understanding and carrying out research, adding value to their core competency, and enhance their operational efficiency in the usage of statistics and interpretation of research data. The purpose of this lecture was to develop participants into competent and confident users of SPSS along with enabling them to conduct independent data analysis for their own research needs. At the end, it was a successful virtual guest lecture with all the attendees from Ph.D. batch of 2020 and few of previous batches. Some of the interested faculty members of SMS and SOC also joined the session.
