The main take away of this webinar were key fundamentals aspects of Level of Treatment to Wastewater based on River Water Quality Predictions using Mathematical Models. There was overwhelming response for the webinar evident through 100 plus participants.
Students and faculty coordinators on behalf of School of Civil Engineering, Thank Honourable Chancellor Dr. P. Shyama Raju sir and Vice Chancellor Dr. M. Dhanamjaya sir.
We also extend our acknowledgement to our Director Dr. Y.Ramalinga Reddy sir, School of Civil Engineering and also our Vertical head Mr. Ajaybhaskar Reddy.
We also thank all the faculties of School of Civil Engineering, REVA University for their continuous support in organizing the events.

Outputs of Webinar:

I.    Objectives:

    The primary objective of the webinar is to know about water quality modelling
    It is a unique tool due to its predictive capabilities and its cost-effectiveness
    Complex relationships between waste load from different sources and resulting water quality responses of the receiving waters
are best described with mathematical models.
    To enhance waste management skills which conserves our natural resources
    UG and PG students of civil engineering have got more opportunities in abroad and in India on Mathematical Modelling.

II.    Mathematical modelling Applications:

    MIXANDAT - MIXING ZONE DATA ANALYSIS   (GOWDA, 1980)
    MIXCALBN - WATER QUALITY PREDICTION MODEL FOR PIPE OUTFALLS (GOWDA, 1989)
    MIXPIPOX – DO PREDICTION DUE TO PIPE/ BANK FALL (GOWDA, 1989)
    MULTMIX – DO PREDICTION IN MIXING ZONE DUE TO MULTIPLE OUTFALLS (MANOJ KUMAR, 1991)
    Developed to predict Dissolved Oxygen
    For each run gives the results of lateral and longitudinal concentration distributions of CBOD, NBOD and DO deficit in rivers receiving effluents from pipe outfalls located at different points.
