Objectives & Functions of IQAC

Driving quality enhancement and institutional excellence

Objectives of IQAC
  • To build, sustain, and institutionalize a strong quality culture across all academic and administrative operations through continuous improvement in teaching, learning, research, evaluation, and extension activities.
  • To initiate, organize, and supervise quality-driven systems and processes that ensure conscious, consistent, and catalytic enhancement of the University’s overall performance and outcomes.
  • To strengthen alignment and integration between academic and administrative functions, promoting the adoption of best practices across Schools and Departments.
  • To provide an evidence-based framework for informed decision-making, strengthen internal communication, engage stakeholders, and ensure effective policy implementation.
Functions of IQAC
  • Strengthening quality culture: Enhancing academic and administrative excellence by institutionalizing best practices and fostering continuous quality improvement.
  • Process benchmarking and assurance: Reviewing, benchmarking, and documenting processes through quality indicators, audits, and periodic reviews.
  • Learner-centric academic environment: Promoting curriculum enrichment, innovative teaching–learning practices, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Accreditation, reporting, and rankings leadership: Coordinating national and international accreditations, rankings, AQAR submissions, and statutory reporting.
